La Cucina Italiana

It's Friday night, a visitor in town, and looking for a new place to dine.
We land in La Cucina Italiana

More after the jump

I'm not finding a convenient way to upload and organize pics on this blog thing, even though there are roughly one million ways to do it. So I'm not messing with the current order.

The decor is very faux, but you could argue that everything in HK is flat out faux and gaudy. You just have to get over these artificial landscapes. But the food was good and not an outrageous price. A pretty normal price which also covered a bottle of wine.

Probably the best dish, the risotto was pretty darn good.

Lamb cutlets

Seafood salad.

A blurry pic of pizza

And to start, some bread and lots of garlic. Pretty sure it kept the vampires away all night.

I happened to run into a friend on the way to the bathroom, and he said the lasagna was terrible. Another tip: they've got a couchy living room area, and if you want to make yourself at home while others watch, be sure to book ahead.
